Rafael Casero is a Senior at the University of Florida majoring in Journalism with a specialization in Sports and Media. His interests include sports media, sports communication, and television production. As a Cuban American born and raised in Miami, Florida, Rafael brings a diverse cultural perspective and a deep passion for sports shaped by the vibrant sports community of South Florida.
He has experience in public speaking, serving as a speaker for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Through critical coursework at the University of Florida, he has gained hands-on experience reporting on and interviewing members of the community to produce compelling stories. Rafael has also covered several games for the University of Florida Baseball Team, further developing his skills in sports reporting and analysis.
In his free time, he watches sports debate shows, carefully analyzing their structure and discussion style as he works toward his ultimate goal of becoming a Live TV sports entertainer and sports reporter.
